The situation
Some answers sit outside DORA itself: in the technical standards, the ESA Q&As and, for Swedish firms, the FFFS. In the MetLex test, most misses from memory fell right there.
What Joakim did
- Built MetLex to give an AI tool the text of DORA, its technical standards, the GDPR and the FFFS, with official links.
- Added the ESA Q&As on DORA, and guidance from Finansinspektionen and IMY, the Swedish financial and data-protection supervisors.
- Gave each passage a deep link to the official source, down to the article on EUR-Lex or the page in the consolidated PDF from Finansinspektionen.
- Tested it on known traps, among them a carve-out for financial services that exists only in Q&A DORA030-2999, and FFFS 2014:4 5 kap. 14 § after its renumbering by FFFS 2024:29.
What came of it
With MetLex, as with web search, the model found the right provision in all 36 questions the law answers, the carve-out included.
